Cupping

Cupping is an ancient tradition of placing cups on certain parts of the body for increased blood flow, relaxation and muscle tension release. We use glass fire cupping, silicone, bamboo or disposable (wet cupping) cupping sets. The cups can be applied in many different methods from static, sliding or flash cupping.

Cupping therapy is mainly used to relax muscles and assist and reduce back and neck pain. According to Chinese theory, this therapy has much wider applications for achieving health benefits. Through the power of suction, the flow of blood and lymph is improved, avoiding stagnation to improve the flow of Qi; the inner energy of the body. Therefore, cupping therapy is used to treat colds and flu and illnesses of the respiratory system, such as bronchitis and pneumonia. It can even improve musculoskeletal pain and promote blood flow.
